- The Houston Ducks second preseason game was against another top semi pro franchise in Houston. They faced off the Texas Red Raiders and came away with a 26-12 victory. The Ducks dominated the whole game on both sides of the ball. The defense had constant pressure and kept the prolific red raider offense in check. The defensive player of the game was DE Billy Messenger. The whole defense played lights out as a unit. DB Cassius Bradley had an Interception for a touchdown. The offense was once again rolling. RB Dominic Ward scored on a touchdown run. QB Jeremy Denson hit WR Dominique Reddick for a touchdown. QB Mike Nichols also connected with Reddick for a touchdown. This victory further put a stamp on the Ducks 2014 campaign.
