On July 26, 2014, the Houston Ducks signed to join the MPFL (Minor Professional Football League).
Since the team’s creation, during the summer of 2012, the Ducks had been members of the AAA division of the XFL (Xclusive Football League). We are very appreciative for all of the love shown to us by the XFL’s commissioner, Ruben Quintanilla, as well as other XFL teams and their owners. We learned a lot from everyone we were fortunate enough to come in contact with during our run in the XFL.
Going into our third season, beginning in the spring of 2015, we believe that a move to the MPFL will be right for us. Here is a little more information about the MPFL, taken from its Facebook page (Minor Professional Football League):
