Coach Burnside on the signing: “I mentioned before that signing Elroy Douglas a former Missouri Western Griffon is one of my all-time favorite signings but this one may be more special.” “I have had the pleasure of watching this man mature through his High School years and follow him all through college.” “Damien has been able to handle all types of adversity but continue to stay on a path to success.” “Since turning pro I have tried and tried to keep him home and now we finally get to keep him here.” “I guess this really just shows my age having coached him in high school.” “I am excited to help him through this next chapter.”
