The Houston Ducks took on the Victoria hurricanes in the Crafl 2018 Championship. Both teams were champions in 2017, as the Houston Ducks won the DTFA championship and the Victoria Hurricanes were the defending Crafl champions. The Houston Ducks jumped out on the early lead 6-0, at the quarterback Chris Byrd connects with wide receiver Darryl Stonum for a 10 yard touchdown pass. Right before halftime, Chris Byrd throws an 80 yard touchdown pass to the games offensive MVP, wide receiver Byron Milton, where Milton makes an amazing run after the catch. Late in the fourth quarter, defensive-back Joseph McDonald forces a fumble on the hurricanes quarterback that allows the 2018 Defensive MVP, ILB Jacoby Rockward, to scoop the fumble and score to seal the victory for the Ducks, 20 to 6 over the undefeated Victoria Hurricanes. The Houston Ducks became the first back to back champs from the Houston area in over a decade.
